POSITION: Installer
LOCATION: Greenwood, IN
POSITION SUMMARY:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
  • Complete disconnects, downgrades, non-pay disconnects and tap audits.
  • Complete installations, reconnects and upgrades.
  • Complete pre-wires, post-wires and apartment box installations.
  • Troubleshoot and repair from tap to TV.
  • Bury underground drop with a shovel.
  • Other functions that may be assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong computer knowledge in Windows 95, Windows 95 NT
  • Use of VOM, SLM, drill, toner and various other hand tools.
  • Certify as a pole climber with climbers and ladders.
  • Understand and practice safety policies and use safety equipment.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory background.
  • Basic knowledge of converters, VCRs, TVs, A/B Switches and their various configurations.
  • Planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in all types of weather.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with personnel and customers at all levels.
  • Successful results on a drug test.
  • Internal applicants must have completed six months in current position.
