Insight and TV One Announce Carriage Agreement

New York – May 03, 2004

Insight Communications (Nasdaq: ICCI) and TV One announced today a corporate carriage agreement that will bring the new entertainment and lifestyle network for African American adults to customers of Insight’s cable systems.

Insight’s Louisville, Ky. Metro/Southern Indiana cable system launched TV One on April 7 to nearly 250,000 expanded basic customers, and the MSO will make the new network available to an additional 150,000 expanded basic customers in two other markets by June 30. Insight expects to roll out TV One to a significant portion of the MSO’s additional customers within the next year.

“Insight is pleased to be one of the first operators to launch TV One’s exciting new service,” said Pam Halling, senior vice president, marketing and programming at Insight Communications. “This agreement represents Insight’s continued commitment to provide our customers with the widest possible array of programming choices.”
