Insight Communications Announces New Vice President of Customer Field Operations

New York – June 17, 2004 –

Insight Communications (NASDAQ: ICCI) has appointed Lawrence Collins vice president of customer field operations, effective May 13. Charles Dietz, Insight’s chief technology officer, made the announcement. In this capacity, Collins will work with Insight’s cable systems to streamline field operations that directly impact the customer experience. He will be based in Louisville, Ky.

Collins joined Insight in 2001 and most recently served as director of network architecture. He came to Insight from Time Warner Cable in Liberty, N.Y., where he served as division vice president of engineering. He has also held engineering and technical staff positions with Cablevision Industries, Inc., Viacom Cablevision and Blalock Pipe and Cable Inc. Collins began his career as a system technician at Viacom Cablevision in Holbrook, N.Y.
