Insight Communications Announces New SVP of Data And Telephony Services

New York – September 03, 2003

Insight Communications Company (Nasdaq: ICCI) has appointed Mike Page to the newly created position of senior vice president, Data and Telephone Services, effective September 1. The announcement was made by Michael Willner, Insight's vice chairman and chief executive officer.

Page was previously an independent consultant, providing merger and acquisition, product development and operational advisory services to senior management clients in the local exchange carrier, private equity, Internet service and cable television industries. Prior to that, Page was co-founder and vice president of finance and corporate development at Valor Telecommunications, a rural local exchange carrier based in Irving, Texas.

"We are thrilled to add Mike to our team," said Willner. "He brings more than ten years experience in the data and telephony industries and will be an integral part of our strategy to grow these critical areas of our business."

Page will be responsible for overseeing Insight's high-speed data and telephony operations. He will be based in Louisville, Ky. and report directly to Willner.

Page graduated from Hampden-Sydney College with a bachelor of arts degree in Economics. He also earned a master's degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Insight Communications is the 9th largest cable operator in the United States, serving approximately 1.4 million customers in the four contiguous states of Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky.
