Insight Communications Revises Date of Third Quarter Conference Call

New York – October 17, 2002 –

Insight Communications Company, Inc. (Nasdaq: ICCI) today announced a change in the date of its conference call to discuss third quarter 2002 results. Rather than the previously announced date of October 28, management will instead host the call on Friday, October 25, 2002, at 9:00 a.m. ET. The company will still announce its results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2002 on October 24, 2002 after the close of business.
