Insight Communications Announces Appointments

New York – April 11, 2001

Kim Kelly, Executive Vice President, Chief Operating & Financial Officer of Insight Communications, announced two recent appointments in the company.

Greg Capranica recently joined Insight as District Vice President for the Springfield, Illinois area, where he will oversee all facets of daily operations that serve 115,000 customers. A 20-year veteran in various capacities of the cable industry, Capranica was most recently General Manager for the Chicago Suburbs division of AT&T Broadband, where he spearheaded the area’s rebuild and was responsible for approximately 190,000 customers and 175 employees. Prior to his tenure at AT&T Broadband, he held management level positions for Times Mirror Cable and Cox Communications.

Keith Hall also recently joined the company as Vice President, Government and Regulatory Affairs. In his new position, Hall will be responsible for representing Insight in the local, state, and federal public policy arenas. Hall comes to Insight from the Louisville law firm of Pedley, Zielke, Gordinier & Pence, PLLC, where he has served as Associate since 1998 and participated in local franchising as well as lobbying activity. He has also served as Field Director for United States Congressman Anne Northup of Kentucky, as well as Special Assistant to Larry Forgy as the Republican Nominee for Governor. Hall earned his B.A. from Centre College in Danville, Kentucky and his law degree from the University of Louisville. He will be based in Insight’s New York City Home Office and will report directly to Colleen Quinn, Senior Vice President of Corporate Relations.
